The Ghana Education Service has cancelled the two-day mid-term break for basic schools scheduled for 5th and 6th November 2026.
As part of efforts to recover instructional hours lost during the recent industrial action, Management of the Ghana Education Service has directed that all basic schools open and conduct normal academic activities on Thursday, 5th November, and Friday, 6th November 2026.
Teachers, students, parents, guardians and the general public have been advised to take note and be guided accordingly.
