VIP Jeoun Transport Commissions 35 New Executive Buses to Boost Passenger Comfort and Safety

VIP Jeoun Transport Company Limited has commissioned 35 new 42-seater executive buses into active service, significantly expanding its fleet and reinforcing its commitment to safe and comfortable road transportation in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview with Citi News on Sunday, January 4, the General Manager of VIP Jeoun Transport, Adakabre Frimpong Manso, said the addition forms part of the company’s broader strategy to enhance passenger experience while prioritising road safety.
According to him, the newly introduced Higer buses fall into two categories: 42-seater executive coaches and 61-seater standard tour coaches. Both models, he explained, have been customised to suit Ghana’s terrain and the demands of long-distance travel.
The 61-seater buses are configured with a 2+2 seating arrangement, while the 42-seater executive coaches feature a more spacious 2+1 seating layout. The executive coaches come with wider, reclining seats, offering passengers extra legroom and improved comfort, particularly on long journeys.
Mr. Manso noted that the buses are equipped with advanced safety features, including three-point seat belts, anti-lock braking systems, anti-collision technology, and driver monitoring systems designed to minimise fatigue-related accidents.
He further revealed that the new fleet introduces an intelligent 360-degree visibility system for the first time in the company’s operations. Combined with mirror-less camera technology, the system enhances driver visibility and situational awareness on the road.
All the buses are double-axle vehicles fitted with axle helpers to improve stability, load distribution, and overall performance on long-distance routes.
The commissioning of the new buses highlights VIP Jeoun Transport’s ongoing efforts to modernise public transport in Ghana by blending comfort, innovation, and safety to meet the evolving needs of travellers nationwide.
