The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a special opportunity for prospective national service personnel affected by biodata mismatch issues to correct their records and complete their registration.
In a notice dated August 31, 2026, the Authority said affected students who have been unable to resolve discrepancies in their personal information should report to the NSA Kumasi Regional Office from Tuesday, September 1 to Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
The exercise is being organised in collaboration with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths.
Affidavit and Gazette assistance
The NSA said the initiative is intended to help affected students complete the necessary procedures to correct their records and finalise their national service registration.
Students who have not yet obtained the required affidavit will be assisted to prepare and swear the document through the Commissioner for Oaths.
Those who require Gazette publication will also receive guidance from the Ghana Publishing Company on the necessary process.
The Authority has further directed students who have already obtained their affidavits and/or Gazette publications to report to the Kumasi Regional Office with the original documents and other relevant supporting documents.
Students urged to act promptly
The NSA explained that once the necessary corrections have been made and the students’ records aligned, they will be able to proceed with the national service registration process.
It has therefore urged all affected prospective national service personnel, including those who have completed the affidavit and Gazette processes but are still waiting for their records to be corrected, to report without delay.
Students are advised to come along with their original Ghana Cards, as well as affidavits and Gazette publications where applicable.
The NSA has encouraged all affected students to take advantage of the special exercise and regularise their records before the September 3 deadline.
