NPP reflects on 2024 defeat as leaders push for unity and rebuilding

The New Patriotic Party’s loss in the 2024 general elections marks a challenging moment, but also an opportunity for reflection and renewal.
In the aftermath, key figures including Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Justin Frimpong Kodua, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, and Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B) have remained active and engaged, offering support to party members and helping to maintain stability within the party.
Their continued involvement has reassured the grassroots as the NPP navigates the post-election period and begins efforts to reorganise and rebuild.
At the same time, concerns have been raised by party supporters over what they describe as increasing pressure on opposition voices, with several individuals linked to the NPP reportedly facing state actions.
Looking ahead, the focus is shifting toward strengthening party structures, promoting unity, and developing a clear vision ahead of the 2028 elections.
Many supporters believe that experience and consistency in leadership will play a key role in restoring confidence and positioning the party for a strong comeback.
While the 2024 defeat is a setback, it also presents a chance for introspection, growth, and a renewed commitment to the party’s core values.
