Dr Abu Sakara Foster Elected New Kakulasewura of Mankuma Traditional Are

Dr Abu Sakara Foster has been formally elected as the new Kakulasewura of the Mankuma Traditional Area following extensive consultations by the elders of the Kakulase clan.
The decision was reached after the completion of the 40-day funeral rites for the late Kakulasewura, Mahama Madoji, in line with traditional customs.
Elders of the clan, led by Kakiasewura Mumuni Amadu, convened to nominate and select a suitable successor to the vacant stool. After careful and impartial deliberations, Dr Abu Sakara Foster emerged as the consensus choice.
Dr Foster is the son of the late Sakara Bamutu and grandson of the late Kakulasewura Bamutu Amanfo, placing him directly in the royal lineage of the Kakulase clan.
On Monday, January 19, 2026, he was officially recognised and enstooled as Ligam Kakulasewura Dr Abu Sakara Foster of the Mankuma Traditional Area.
The elders expressed full confidence in his leadership capabilities and called on the entire community to rally behind him in unity, peace, and commitment to development.
The enstoolment is expected to usher in a new era of progress and harmony for the Mankuma Traditional Area under the guidance of the new chief.
