A motor rider has died after a collision with a Toyota Tacoma at No Weapon Junction in Asiakwa, with the motorbike catching fire after the impact.
The Ghana National Fire Service said the crash, which happened on Saturday, 24 October 2026, was reportedly caused by wrongful overtaking on the part of the Tacoma driver. One other person was injured.
Bunso Fire Station received the call at 10:11 a.m. A seven-member crew led by STNO I. Aboagye reached the scene at 10:25 a.m. and found the motorbike on fire. The firefighters put out the flames with a hose reel.
The front of the Tacoma was partially damaged, while the motorbike was completely burnt.
