Long Queues as SHS Freshers Flood Campuses Nationwide

Thousands of parents and their wards have flocked to senior high school campuses across Ghana to secure placements and finalize admission processes.
The nationwide exercise marks the beginning of the academic journey for nearly 600,000 fresh students.
Challenges Faced by Parents
Many parents have had to endure lengthy queues and waiting times, with some arriving as early as 6:30 am. Parents expressed both relief and frustration with the process, citing internet challenges and the need for separate reporting dates to ease pressure.
Many students are visibly thrilled to begin school, inspired by others who have gone before them.
Students are eager to make their parents proud and work hard to achieve their academic goals.
Education authorities have assured that the rush is expected to ease as the admission window remains open, and schools work to manage numbers with staggered reporting schedules
