GH¢50 FOR BLACK STARS MATCH! NSA ANNOUNCES TICKET PRICES FOR SOMALIA CLASH

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced ticket prices and sales arrangements for Ghana’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Somalia at the Essipong Sports Stadium.
In a public notice issued on November 5, 2026, the NSA announced that tickets for all seated sections of the stadium will cost GH¢50, while supporters seeking access to the VVIP section will pay GH¢100.
Students will enjoy free admission to designated standing areas as part of efforts to encourage their participation and boost support for the national team.
However, students will be required to present valid student identification cards for verification before gaining entry into the stadium.
Ticket sales are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 10, at 10:00 GMT, with the Essipong Sports Stadium serving as the official sales point.
The NSA has urged supporters to purchase tickets only from the approved outlet and comply with the stadium’s seating arrangements to ensure an orderly matchday experience.
The authority has also appealed to football fans across the country to turn out in large numbers to support the Black Stars as they continue their campaign to qualify for the 2027 AFCON.
Ghana will host Somalia on Wednesday, November 11, before playing the return fixture on Monday, November 16, at the same venue, with Somalia designated as the home team for the second encounter. Both matches are scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT.
The double-header is crucial to Ghana’s qualification campaign after the four-time African champions suffered defeats to Ivory Coast and The Gambia in their opening Group C fixtures.
Those results have left the Black Stars needing positive results in their remaining matches to strengthen their chances of securing a place at the 2027 tournament.
Ghana also missed the 2025 AFCON in Morocco after failing to win any of their six qualifying matches.
The upcoming fixtures against Somalia therefore present an opportunity for the Black Stars to revive their campaign and move closer to securing qualification for Africa’s biggest international football competition.
