The Ghana Education Service has announced that funds for perishables covering the period from 1 March to 4 September 2026, as well as part payment of recurring items for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year for SHS 1 students, have been transferred to the accounts of Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools.
In a circular dated 23 September 2026 and addressed to all Regional Directors, the Management of the Ghana Education Service directed them to notify Heads of Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools of the transfer.
Heads of the schools have been reminded to send official receipts of the funds received to the Director-General through their Regional Accountants.
The circular, signed by the Director-General, Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, noted that Management counts on the usual cooperation of the Regional Directors.
