Chiefs and Opinion Leaders of Samreboi Appeal for Development Support

Chiefs, queen mothers, and opinion leaders in Samreboi in the Wassa Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region have expressed concern over what they describe as persistent developmental challenges affecting communities in the area.

According to the traditional leaders, several communities continue to struggle with poor road networks, unreliable telecommunications services, and abandoned infrastructure projects, including an uncompleted daycare school facility.

They noted that the poor condition of roads is affecting transportation, economic activities, and access to essential services, while weak network connectivity continues to hamper communication and business operations.

The leaders further lamented the delay in completing the daycare school project, stressing that the situation is negatively impacting early childhood education in the area.

They have therefore appealed to the Member of Parliament for the area, Eric Afful, the Municipal Chief Executive, and the government to intervene and address the challenges confronting the communities.

The chiefs and elders expressed hope that urgent action would be taken to improve infrastructure and living conditions in Samreboi and its surrounding communities to support development and enhance the welfare of residents.

They also called for greater collaboration between local authorities and community leaders to ensure that the development needs of the municipality receive the necessary attention.
