Agona Swedru, Central Region, Ghana – The Branch Manager of Agonaman Credit Union in Agona Swedru, Mr Bismark Antwi-Ocran, has commended the Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, for the Mid-Year Budget Review presented in Parliament last week.
Mr Antwi-Ocran said the policy measures outlined in the review are timely and favourable to the banking sector and the wider business community.
According to him, the proposals are expected to boost liquidity, improve access to credit, and create a more enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
He further expressed optimism that the budget would strengthen confidence in the financial sector and support economic growth at the local level.
The Finance Minister presented the Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament as part of efforts to update the nation on fiscal performance and policy direction for the rest of the year.
