Nana Frimpong, a former National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary aspirant for Offinso North, is fighting for his life at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after a serious road crash.
The accident happened on the Kumasi-Bechem highway as he returned from an event in Japeikrom. A speeding truck coming the other way swerved into his lane, forcing him to take sharp action.
Nana Frimpong’s saloon car hit a roadside object and rolled into a bush. The truck may have been dodging potholes on the bad road.
He suffered heavy injuries and was rushed to the emergency unit. His car is badly damaged, almost a write-off.
