YEA Supports Skills Training Beneficiaries in Twifo Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District

The Youth Employment Agency has supported skills training beneficiaries in the Twifo Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District with equipment and other items to help them establish themselves and become self-reliant.

Speaking at a graduation ceremony in Twifo Hemang, the District Director of the YEA, Mr Owusu Agyenkwa, urged the beneficiaries to take advantage of the support to improve their livelihoods and build sustainable futures.

Mr Agyenkwa encouraged the beneficiaries to make good use of the machines and other items provided to them, stressing the need for them to become successful in their respective trades. He further expressed the hope that by the same time next year, the beneficiaries would have established themselves and be in a position to train and graduate other apprentices.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to Onua TV/FM shared their experiences and journeys through the skills training programme. They expressed appreciation for the support and thanked the government for fulfilling its promises.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Constituency Women’s Organiser of the National Democratic Congress in Twifo Hemang-Lower-Denkyira, Mrs Felicia Denteh, has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for the NDC and its parliamentary candidates in the 2028 general elections.

According to her, the constituency’s lack of an MP affects its development, making it important for voters to elect a parliamentary representative who can effectively advocate for their needs and promote development in the area.
