The National Communications Authority (NCA) has announced that voice and data services have been restored across the five Northern Regions and parts of the Oti Region.
In a press release dated 26 September 2026, the Authority said the restoration followed the successful repair of the affected fibre infrastructure by the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) and the network operators.
The NCA commended the technical teams for the speed with which the repairs were carried out and thanked consumers in the affected areas for their patience and understanding during the disruption.
The Authority said it continues to monitor network performance across the country to ensure that service providers maintain the quality of service that consumers deserve.
