Sissala West MP Donates GH¢20,000 to Support Fire Tender Maintenance in Gwollu

The Member of Parliament for Sissala West, Mohammed A. Sukparu, has donated GH¢20,000 to support the servicing and maintenance of a fire tender at the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) station in Gwollu.
The donation is intended to help keep the fire tender in good working condition and improve the station’s capacity to respond promptly to fire outbreaks and other emergencies within the Sissala West District.
The funds were presented on behalf of the MP by the District Chief Executive for Sissala West, Gbane Fuseine Abudu, accompanied by some party faithful.
The donation was received by the District Fire Officer, ADO I Sanjage Salaam Musah, who expressed appreciation to the MP for the intervention.
He assured that the funds would be used for their intended purpose.
Boost for Emergency Response
The intervention is expected to enhance the operational readiness of the Gwollu Fire Station and strengthen its ability to respond quickly to emergencies across the district.
The availability and mechanical readiness of emergency response vehicles remain critical to protecting lives and property, particularly in communities where delays in responding to fires and other emergencies can have serious consequences.
The MP’s support is therefore expected to contribute to efforts to ensure that the fire tender remains available for timely emergency response when needed.
