A newborn baby boy has been discovered abandoned at the Kronkromase cemetery in the Atasomanso electoral area of the Ashanti Region, leaving residents shocked and concerned.
The infant was found in the early hours of Sunday, April 5, by people who had gone to the cemetery. According to eyewitnesses, the helpless baby was left alone in a vulnerable state at the location.
The Assembly Member for the area, Abdul Samid, popularly known as Opele, expressed deep sadness over the incident.
He confirmed that the matter has been promptly reported to the Kronkromase Police Station for investigation.
