MANAGEMENT OF SHATTA WALE CANCELS WOLVERHAMPTON CONCERT.
Self acclaimed Ghanaian dancehall king, Shatta Wale has cancelled his much-anticipated concert originally scheduled for The Hangar in Wolverhampton, UK on Saturday, November 4.
“This decision has been made due to unforeseen circumstances concerning the artist’s demands that the promoters have been unable to meet,” a statement from his management said.
It further indicated that the award-winning artiste’s demands appear to be logistically and financially challenging for the organisers.
According to Shatta Wale’s management, this has made it impossible “for us to proceed with the event as planned”.
The statement had observed that the multiple hitmaker was diligently working to bring his electrifying performance to the people of Wolverhampton at The Hangar.
“We believed that this concert would not only celebrate the incredible talent of Shatta Wale but also offer an unforgettable experience for his dedicated fans.”
The statement described Shatta Wale’s demands as “luxurious” in order not to lower the quality of his preparations.
“Our primary concern is always to provide an outstanding experience for concertgoers, and we believe it would be unfair to compromise the quality of the show by attempting to cut corners or reduce our preparation value.”
Shatta Wale’s management apologised for the decision and promised refunds for all those who have already bought tickets.
“We would like to extend our sincere apologies to all the fans who have been eagerly looking forward to this event. We understand the disappointment this cancellation may cause, and we share in that disappointment.
“Refunds will be automatically issued to all ticket holders for the Shatta Wale concert. Please, allow up to some days for the refund process to be completed, and we appreciate your patience in this matter.”
The statement from the musician’s management thanked the public, financiers and supporters, assuring of delivering top-tier entertainment in future.
