Pastor Mensa Otabil, founder and general overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), has ignited widespread debate with his striking comments on divine revelations.
In a widely circulated video, the renowned preacher firmly stated:
“God is not revealing mysteries to anybody again. I will say it again: God is not revealing mysteries to anybody and is not speaking by revelation to anybody. God’s revelation is closed; He’s not adding or subtracting from it.”
This assertion underscores Pastor Otabil’s belief that the era of new divine revelations has ended, emphasizing that God’s word remains unchanging and complete.
His bold remarks arrive during heightened public interest in prophetic declarations, particularly those concerning the upcoming elections. Many self-proclaimed prophets have offered contradictory predictions, each claiming divine authority. Pastor Otabil’s statement seemingly questions the legitimacy of such prophecies, suggesting they may stem from personal opinions rather than divine insight.
