GES Opens Recruitment Portal for 7,000 Teachers Nationwide

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially opened its recruitment portal, inviting qualified individuals to apply for various teaching roles across the country.
The initiative forms part of efforts to strengthen Ghana’s education workforce and improve the delivery of quality education nationwide.
According to the Service, the recruitment process has been carefully structured to ensure fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity for all eligible applicants.
Prospective candidates have been urged to submit their applications strictly through the official platform, as the process remains merit-based.
GES has also cautioned the public against engaging middlemen or unauthorized individuals who claim to influence recruitment outcomes for a fee, emphasizing that the process is transparent and free from external interference.
The development follows an earlier announcement by the Ministry of Education, which secured financial clearance to recruit 7,000 teachers.
Subsequently, the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, directed the Ghana Education Service to activate the recruitment portal, effective Friday, April 10, 2026.

GES has reaffirmed its commitment to upholding integrity throughout the recruitment exercise and ensuring that all applications are processed in line with established guidelines.
