A five-month-old baby boy has reportedly gone missing after he was allegedly taken from his mother at the Cape Coast Bus Terminal area of Asafo Market in the Kumasi Metropolis.
The incident reportedly occurred at about 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, when the baby’s mother, a food vendor, left her sleeping son in front of their store while she prepared food.
According to the family, a woman believed to be in her late 30s was sitting near the corner of the store at the time.
The mother reportedly turned away briefly to pick up an item, but upon returning, she discovered that both the woman and her five-month-old son were no longer at the scene.
The family has since reported the matter to the police and is appealing to the public for any information that could assist in locating the missing child.
