Community Police Officer Stabbed by Wanted Suspect in Ajumako Bisease

A community police assistant officer, identified as Yaw, was reportedly attacked and injured on Tuesday evening in Ajumako Bisease while attempting to arrest a wanted suspect involved in an altercation with another individual.
According to reports, the suspect was already on the wanted list of the Ajumako Bisease Police Station. The incident is said to have occurred when Officer Yaw responded to a disturbance in the community and intervened in a fight involving the suspect and another resident.
Eyewitness accounts indicate that as the officer attempted to apprehend the suspect, the individual allegedly pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed him before fleeing the scene.
Speaking on the incident, Uncle Benn, a leader of the Guardians Angels in Ajumako Bisease, recounted how the officer rushed to restore order after hearing a commotion, only to be attacked during the arrest attempt.
Following the assault, Officer Yaw was rushed to the Ajumako Bisease Hospital for treatment and is reported to be recovering.
Uncle Benn also used the opportunity to call on community leaders and residents to work together in promoting peace and unity within the area. He urged members of the community to remain united and support efforts aimed at maintaining law and order.
Meanwhile, a manhunt has been launched for the suspect, who remains at large. Police investigations are ongoing, and authorities are appealing to the public for information that could assist in his arrest.
