The operational association of tricycle (Pragia) transit operators in Bibiani and its environs has announced plans to increase transport fares latest by Monday, 28 September 2026.
In an exclusive interview with the media, the Chairman of the association, Mr Anthony Afum, popularly known as Chairman Fii, hinted that a series of arrangements are ongoing to effect the increment.
According to him, the decision is in line with the increase in the price of fuel and other usable spare parts needed for their operations.
He therefore appealed to the general public to accept the increment to enhance effective and safe operations.
On the other hand, the Chairman cautioned riders not to effect the increment unless they are officially instructed to do so.
He charged passengers to report any unapproved prices to the authorities of the association for the necessary action to be taken.
