Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has initiated urgent diplomatic engagement with Ronald Lamola following viral videos showing alleged xenophobic attacks targeting Ghanaians in South Africa.

Mr Ablakwa revealed that he personally contacted his South African counterpart to address the disturbing footage and coordinate a response.
“I called him on the trending videos about Ghanaians coming under extremely disturbing xenophobic attacks,” he stated.
