Young Importer Killed at Tema Port
Emergency workers remove the body of the importer after he was crushed by a reach stacker at Tema Port.
A young man who imports goods died in a terrible accident at the Golden Jubilee Terminal in Tema Harbour.
He was crushed from the waist down by a big machine that lifts containers.People who saw it happen said the machine, called a reach stacker, was moving backwards during normal work at the port. The man was standing behind it.
He fell and got trapped under the huge wheels.Workers and others nearby ran to help, but his injuries were too bad. They could not save him.Port bosses and rescue teams came later. They closed the area and took the body away.
