Woman, two children allegedly murdered by unidentified gunmen in Bawku

A tragic incident has unfolded in Bawku, where a woman and her two children were brutally murdered by gunmen dressed in military uniforms.

The attack occurred in Tensungo, just a stone’s throw away from a military camp in the Bawku township. Although the motive behind the attack is still unclear, it’s believed to be connected to the ongoing chieftaincy conflict in the area, which has been simmering since October 2024.
