WAEC Releases Most Withheld BECE and WASSCE Results, Cancels Some for Exam Malpractice

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has good news for many students: the majority of results that were previously withheld due to suspected irregularities have now been released after detailed investigations.
However, some candidates were found guilty of examination malpractice, and their results have been completely cancelled.
WAEC says the decisions followed thorough probes into reports of cheating and other irregularities during the exams.
Students and parents are advised to buy a new results checker card to access and confirm the updated results online, as old checkers may no longer work.
Candidates whose results are now released can proceed with school placements or further applications, while those affected by cancellations have lost their scores for the subjects or entire exams involved.
WAEC continues to stress the importance of honesty in examinations to maintain the credibility of its certificates.
