Vice President Bawumia Urges Voters to Reject Former President Mahama, Emphasizes NPP’s Achievements

The Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has urged voters to reject former President John Mahama, characterizing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer as “someone who represents the past of the country.” Addressing NPP supporters in Nandom in the Upper West Region, Dr. Bawumia asserted that Mahama had no new or better policies to enhance the livelihoods of Ghanaians.

“John Mahama represents the past of this country, and Dr. Bawumia represents the future of this country. So, forget about him and choose the future,” the NPP Flagbearer told the enthusiastic crowd of NPP supporters.

Dr. Bawumia highlighted several achievements of the ruling NPP administration as reasons for the electorate to renew their mandate in the upcoming December 7 election. He cited initiatives such as the Free SHS (Senior High School), Free TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training), the GhanaCard, the One Ambulance per Constituency policy, One District One Village One Dam, Planting for Food and Jobs, and One District One Factory as evidence that the NPP government is on the right path to making Ghana a model for other African nations.

“Ghana will soon be like the UK and other countries because we are going to introduce a credit system that will help all of us buy items and pay for them bit by bit until we finish paying,” Dr. Bawumia stated.
