University of Ghana Advises Applicants to Review Portal Entries After WASSCE Results Release
The University of Ghana has advised applicants to log in again to the university’s applications portal following the release of the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.
In an important notice dated September 5, 2026, and signed by the Director of Academic Affairs, Lydia Anowa Nyako-Danquah, the university directed applicants to review the accuracy of their entries, particularly their full name and date of birth, as well as examination records including Index Number, Exam Month and Exam Year.
Applicants were also urged to refer to the UG 2025/2026 entry cut-off aggregates for various programmes and make realistic choices.
The university noted that applications for 2026/2027 admissions remain open for applicants with WASSCE results. Interested persons may purchase e-vouchers at designated banks or through the USSD codes 772100# or 776108# on all mobile telecommunication networks to apply to selected programmes.
The application portal will be closed at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
