Uncle recounts final moments of Konongo teacher who died suddenly

The uncle of the late teacher at Konongo Odumase M/A Basic School, Grace Stepheny, has shared a heartbreaking account of the events leading to her sudden death.
Speaking to Adom News, Isaac Kumi said his niece appeared healthy before leaving home for school but later complained of severe neck and throat pains after arriving at work.
According to him, colleagues rushed her to a health facility, but she passed away despite efforts by medical staff to save her. Doctors later indicated that her condition was linked to high blood pressure, which reportedly spiked before dropping critically.
Mr Kumi added that the family initially held on to hope, delaying the transfer of her body to the morgue until later in the afternoon.
In a related development, he revealed that another teacher, believed to be a close friend of the deceased, also died around the same time after reportedly battling an illness for over a month.
The twin deaths have left the Konongo Odumase community in shock, with colleagues and family members mourning the sudden loss.
