Two Brothers Arrested Over Killing of Man and Injury of His Wife at Tuba

Police have arrested two brothers, Adams Adder Almeida and Bala Bilyon, in connection with the killing of a 54-year-old man and the injury of his wife at Beach Drive Estate, Tuba, near Weija.
The suspects were arrested over the murder of Rahman Mohamed, 54, and the injury of his wife, Christiana Fosu, 53, at the estate on Thursday, 6 August 2026.
During interrogation, police said Adams Adder Almeida allegedly admitted to shooting the couple. He claimed he was motivated by the perception that the deceased had repeatedly described him as lazy and useless, which he said affected him mentally.
Adams is said to have later led investigators to Bala Bilyon’s room at Beach Drive Estate, where a pistol believed to have been used in the shooting was retrieved.
The weapon was allegedly concealed beneath the wall of Bala Bilyon’s room. Police said Bilyon works with the deceased.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
