Suspect Arrested Following Fire Outbreak at Accra Central Police Barracks

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fire outbreak at the Accra Central Police Barracks in Accra.
According to a statement signed by Superintendent Juliana Obeng, personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service responded swiftly to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control before it could spread further.
The Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, together with members of the Police Management Board and the Accra Regional Police Commander, visited the scene to assess the extent of damage and offer support to affected residents.
Police confirmed that no casualties were recorded in the incident.
Although the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, authorities disclosed that one suspect is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
