Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy has shared an extraordinary story of how a chance encounter in Nigeria led to him receiving a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser V8 as a gift.
Speaking in an interview with Kafui Dey, the award-winning musician recounted that the moment began with a simple, random conversation outside his hotel room during a visit to Nigeria.
According to him, what started as a casual interaction with a Lebanese businessman identified as Rai quickly turned into a deeper discussion that attracted others, evolving into what felt like an impromptu business meeting.
A Story That Touched Hearts
During the exchange, Stonebwoy revealed that he had once sold two of his personal vehicles—including his cherished V8 and a Range Rover—to finance one of his concerts.
The story, he said, deeply moved the businessman.
Shortly after their meeting, the man reached out and invited him to come and pick up a car.

To his surprise, Stonebwoy was handed the keys to a brand-new Land Cruiser V8—completely free.
“I have never met him before in my life. Under 72 hours,” he recalled.
The artiste described the moment as emotional and spiritual, noting that it was the first time anyone had ever gifted him a car.
