President Mahama Arrives in Luanda for AU Summit on Conflict Resolution

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Luanda, Angola, to participate in the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU).

The President arrived on Saturday afternoon for the high-level meeting, which is focused on strengthening conflict prevention and resolution mechanisms across the continent.

President Mahama and fellow African heads of state are expected to forge actionable strategies during the session to bolster regional stability and reinforce the continent’s collective capacity for peacebuilding.
