Police Arrest Suspect Linked to Robberies and Murder in Sissala East

The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man suspected of being behind a series of armed robberies and a murder in the Sissala East Municipality.
The suspect, Tall Moumouni, had been on the police wanted list and is believed to be connected to multiple robbery and theft incidents, as well as a killing reported in Wellembelle and Tumu.
Police say the arrest forms part of ongoing efforts to combat violent crime in the area. Investigators are currently working to track down other individuals suspected of assisting in the crimes.
Authorities have not yet released detailed information about the incidents but have assured the public that operations are continuing as part of a broader crackdown on criminal activities in the municipality.
The police have reiterated their commitment to maintaining security and have encouraged residents to cooperate by providing relevant information to support investigations
