Oswal Investments Limited has assured the government of completing the reconstruction of the Dodowa–Afienya–Dawhenya Road by December 2026.
The 20.8-kilometre single-carriageway asphaltic concrete road, which includes walkways and four kilometres of dual carriageway at the Dodowa, Afienya and Dawhenya junctions, is currently 62 percent physically complete.
Speaking during the Roads and Highways Minister’s inspection tour of road projects in the Greater Accra Region on Wednesday, August 19, Group Chairman of Oswal Investments Limited, Humphrey Awuletey-Williams, assured the Minister that the contractor would meet the December deadline.
He urged the Minister to prepare for the commissioning of the completed stretch by the end of the year.
“We will be done by December this year. We can achieve it easily,” he affirmed.
