Organ Harvesting in Ghana: A Growing Concern
Teacher's Trust Shattered in Church-Orchestrated Scam

A chilling tale of deception and exploitation has emerged in Ghana, where a 26-year-old primary school teacher, Rita (not her real name), fell prey to a charming organ harvester. The perpetrator, known as King, used a church as a hunting ground to manipulate and harvest Rita’s kidney.
Rita’s ordeal began when she met King at a church in Ablekuma, Accra. He showered her with attention, and she assumed it was a whirlwind romance. However, their relationship turned sinister when King convinced Rita to travel to Dubai and later Singapore, where she was drugged and woke up in a hospital with one kidney harvested.
The victim’s world crumbled as she realized King’s true intentions. Her search for answers led to a shocking discovery: King was a master manipulator using the church to target vulnerable individuals.
