Obinim Says Son Begging Him to Return Home Amid Marital Challenges

Founder and leader of International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has disclosed that one of his sons has been pleading with him to return home following his reported departure from the family residence amid ongoing marital challenges with his wife, Florence Obinim.
Addressing members of his congregation, the controversial preacher claimed that discipline within the household had declined since he moved out.
According to Obinim, a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon he had gifted to the family was allegedly involved in an accident after his son, Promise, reportedly took the vehicle without authorization.
“The G-Wagon I gave them was driven and crashed by my son, Promise. Now, my other son, Gifted, wants me to come home and restore order because their mother is reluctant, but I can’t because my safety comes first,” he told congregants.
To support his claims, the bishop played an audio recording purportedly from his son, Gifted, in which the young man appealed to his father to return home and help restore order.
In the recording, Gifted reportedly said that Promise had taken the G-Wagon keys while he was asleep, went out at night and later crashed the vehicle. He also claimed that their mother had been unable to control the situation and pleaded with his father to intervene.
Despite the appeal, Bishop Obinim maintained that he is unwilling to return home at the moment, citing concerns over his personal safety.
The outspoken preacher recently spoke publicly about difficulties in his marriage, including disagreements involving some of his wife’s associations. The revelations have fueled speculation about possible strains in the couple’s relationship, although neither Bishop Obinim nor Florence Obinim has officially confirmed any plans to separate.
The developments have generated widespread discussion among followers and the public, with many awaiting further comments from the couple.
