The National Service Authority (NSA) has extended the deadline for prospective National Service Personnel affected by biodata mismatches to resolve their issues to Friday, August 28, 2026.
In a press release dated August 26, 2026, the Authority said this is the absolute final opportunity for affected students to complete the rectification and registration process.
The NSA, in collaboration with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths, will facilitate the necessary processes to enable affected students resolve their biodata mismatch issues and complete their registration within the stipulated period.
Affected National Service Personnel are required to resolve biodata mismatches, complete any outstanding affidavit and Gazette processes, have their records corrected and aligned, and complete their National Service registration.
Students affected are urged to report to the NSA Headquarters before or on the extended deadline of Friday, August 28, 2026, with all relevant original documents, including their Ghana Card, affidavit, Gazette publication and other supporting documents.
Once the necessary corrections have been effected and the student’s records duly aligned, the affected student will be able to proceed with the National Service registration process.
The NSA therefore urges all students who are yet to resolve their biodata mismatch issues, as well as those who have completed the affidavit and Gazette processes but are yet to have their records corrected, to report to NSA Headquarters without delay and no later than the extended deadline of August 28, 2026.
Students are encouraged to come along with all relevant original documents to facilitate the process.
