NSA Extends 2025/2026 National Service Registration Deadline to October 24

The National Service Authority (NSA) has extended the online registration deadline for the 2025/2026 service year from October 15 to October 24, 2025, providing additional time for prospective personnel to complete applications amid technical challenges with the new digital platform.

The extension, announced in a statement dated October 15, 2025, from Director-General Osei Assibey Antwi, addresses glitches in the revamped portal, launched on October 8 after a complete digital overhaul to enhance transparency and curb fraud.

“This extension allows additional time for prospective service personnel who, for one reason or another, were unable to complete their registration within the initial window,” the NSA stated, warning that failure to register by the new deadline risks exclusion from postings.

The portal, integrated with the Ghana Card for verification, aims to streamline the process for 100,000+ annual registrants, including private candidates and defaulters.

Graduates must submit letters requesting PIN codes or reactivation, addressed to the Director-General, during working hours from March 17 to July 18, 2025, for defaulters and private candidates.82a8ab The 2025/2026 service year commences on November 3, with reporting by November

The NSA cautioned against fraudulent sites and agents, directing users to www.nsa.gov.gh.

The extension follows appeals from graduates facing verification issues, like mismatched Ghana Card dates, and aligns with reforms including Youth in Agriculture and military training pilots.
