The Congress Elections Committee of the NDC has released key timelines and requirements for aspirants seeking national executive positions in the party’s 2026 elections.
Submission of Nomination Forms
When: Saturday, 7 November – Monday, 9 November 2026
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily
Where: NDC National Headquarters
Required documents:
– 3 duly completed nomination forms
– Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV)
– Vision statement
– Original academic certificates & credentials (for verification)
– 1 postcard-sized photograph (red background)
– Proof of payment of the prescribed filing fee
Note: Only aspirants who have paid the filing fee may submit forms. All submissions will be reviewed against the 2026 Election Guidelines and the NDC Constitution.
Vetting Schedule
When: Wednesday, 11 November – Thursday, 12 November 2026
Time: 8:00 a.m. daily
Where: NDC National Headquarters, Accra
Day 1 — Wednesday, 11 November 2026:
National Chairman • National Vice-Chairmen • General Secretary • National Organiser • National Communication Officer • National Youth Organiser • Deputy National Youth Organisers • National Women Organiser • Deputy National Women Organisers
Ballot position balloting will take place immediately after vetting — only for aspirants declared qualified by the Vetting Committee.
