Ministry of Food and Agriculture Thanks Japan Motors for Supporting National Farmers’ Day

The Ministry of Food and Agriculture has expressed its profound appreciation to Japan Motors Trading Company Limited for its continued partnership and generous support towards the 42nd National Farmers’ Day Celebration.
In a press release dated 19 October 2026, the Ministry noted that the company’s donation of five branded motorcycles towards the celebration qualified Japan Motors as a silver sponsor of the National Farmers’ Day Celebration.
The Ministry said it remained deeply grateful to the company for its dedicated commitment to support the celebration and the promotion of agricultural development in Ghana.
The gesture, according to the Ministry, is a recognition of the vital contribution of farmers and fishers towards national development and underlines the strong partnership between the ministry and the private sector.
The Ministry encouraged other corporate bodies, financial institutions, development partners and well-meaning Ghanaians to follow this example and support the upcoming 42nd National Farmers’ Day Celebration.
The celebration remains the national platform to honour the hard work, dedication and achievements of Ghanaian farmers and fishers whose efforts remain central to food security, job creation and economic growth.
