Media Houses Must Apply by Nov 11 for 2026 Budget Coverage in Parliament

The Parliament of Ghana has opened applications for media accreditation ahead of the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy presentation.

Finance Minister Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson will deliver the budget on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in the House.

All journalists, camera crews, and media teams planning to cover the event live or host morning shows from the Parliament foyer must be accredited.

A statement from the Director of Media Relations, David Sebastian Damoah, said:

“No media person will be granted access without accreditation.”

Applications must reach the Director of Media Relations no later than Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

The strict rule follows security protocol to ensure smooth and safe coverage.

Media houses are urged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

The 2026 budget is expected to outline key government plans on revenue, spending, and economic growth for the coming year.
