Maxwell Kofi Jumah arrested by Economic and Organised Crime Office over alleged financial breaches

Former Managing Director of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, has been arrested by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

The arrest follows a raid on his private residence in Kumasi, with sources indicating he was picked up on April 28 and is currently in custody.

The move is reportedly part of a broader investigation into suspected breaches of public financial management protocols, as authorities examine how resources were handled during his tenure at GIHOC.

Investigations are ongoing as EOCO works to establish the full details surrounding the case
