Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Wife Over Refusal of Sex in Western North Region

The Juaboso District Police Command has arrested a 40-year-old man, Christopher Kabore, for allegedly killing his wife, 31-year-old Nadeye Kasore, following a domestic dispute at Sefwi Saa Kwasikrom, near Bonsu Nkwanta–Nkyesenkokoo in the Western North Region.
The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, after the suspect accused his wife of refusing to have sexual relations with him for about four months and allegedly suspected her of infidelity.
According to preliminary police information, Kabore is said to have inflicted multiple wounds on his wife before allegedly slashing her throat, leading to her death. After the incident, he reportedly attempted to take his own life but was unsuccessful.
Police sources say the deceased was initially buried, but the body was exhumed on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, on the orders of the police. The remains have since been deposited at the Juaboso Government Hospital mortuary for preservation and further forensic examination.
The suspect was later arrested and is currently in police custody at Juaboso, assisting with investigations.
The couple, believed to be nationals of Burkina Faso, are farmers and had reportedly lived in the community for more than three years.
The Juaboso District Police Command has commenced full investigations into the matter and assured the public that the suspect will be arraigned before the Juaboso Magistrate’s Court to face justice as the law takes its course
