Major Fire Erupts in Laterbiokoshie Near Salvation Army School, Firefighters Respond Swiftly

A massive fire broke out in Laterbiokoshie, near the Salvation Army School in Accra, on Tuesday, September 9, prompting a rapid response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS). The blaze, reported in a GNFS Facebook post, has affected several buildings in the area.

The GNFS quickly dispatched seven fire tenders to the scene to contain the fire and prevent further spread. While no official casualty figures have been released, early reports suggest no injuries have occurred.

Residents are urged to stay vigilant and avoid interfering with GNFS operations to ensure firefighters can work effectively. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
