Ledzokuku NPP Delegates Confirm Cash Support from Leading Aspirants

Some delegates in the Ledzokuku Constituency have confirmed receiving cash support from several leading aspirants in today’s New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary.

While many described the money as transportation assistance to help them reach voting centres, others openly shared the exact amounts they received from different camps.

Speaking to Adom News, Tsui Bleoo Electoral Area Coordinator Francis Kwarteng said he received support from three contenders:

Dr Bryan Acheampong: GH¢700

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia: GH¢500

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong: GH¢500

Total: GH¢1,700

He explained that the funds were given as logistical support ahead of the primary — a common practice many delegates rely on to cover transport and other election-day expenses.

Similar accounts have emerged from other parts of the constituency, as delegates openly discuss the financial support they received.

The revelations add to ongoing discussions about campaign financing, delegate incentives, and transparency in internal party elections as the NPP chooses its flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.

Voting continues nationwide today, with over 211,000 delegates participating in the high-stakes contest.
