Kwesi Arthur Postpones North American Leg of Redemption Valley Tour Over Health Concerns

Ghanaian rapper and singer Kwesi Arthur has postponed the North American leg of his Redemption Valley tour after revealing he is dealing with a health issue that doctors say makes it unsafe for him to continue performing.
In a statement shared with fans, the “Baajo” singer said the decision was a difficult one but had become necessary following medical advice.
“You’ve made Redemption Valley one for the books, and this year has meant more to me than words can say,” he wrote, before explaining the reason behind the postponement.
“For a while now I’ve been dealing with a health issue, and despite my best efforts, my doctors have told me that moving forward with the tour right now would be reckless and dangerous to my health,” Kwesi Arthur said.
The postponement affects his scheduled performances in Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.
However, the artiste assured fans that his London show will go ahead as planned.
“London is still on as scheduled, and I can’t wait to see you there,” he said.
Kwesi Arthur said the decision was made with both his health and his fans in mind, promising to return when he is fully fit.
“This wasn’t easy, but I owe it to you, and to myself, to come back and give you the show you deserve, at full strength,” he wrote.
He also disclosed that replacement dates for the North American shows are already being planned. Fans who have already purchased tickets will be able to use them for the rescheduled concerts once the new dates are announced.
“Existing tickets will stay valid once they’re announced. Refund details will follow soon for anyone who needs them,” he added.
The award-winning musician ended the message by thanking fans for their patience and continued support during what he described as a challenging period.
“Thank you for your patience and for sticking with me through this. I’ll see you soon.”
