Kofi Adomah Nwanwani’s Eye Injury Clarified Amid Social Media Speculation
Renowned journalist and CEO of Kofi TV, Kofi Adomah Nwanwani, has suffered a severe eye injury during a traditional funeral ceremony in Dormaa, Bono Region. Initial reports on social media erroneously claimed he was shot, causing widespread alarm and concern.
However, an exclusive report by MyJoyOnline clarified that the incident occurred when chiefs at the funeral were firing muskets as part of the customary rites. While repositioning himself, Kofi Adomah was accidentally struck in the face by gunpowder from one of the discharged weapons.
Extent of Injury and Current Condition
The impact severely damaged one of his eyes, leaving him permanently blind in that eye, while his other eye suffered blurry vision. He initially received treatment in Ghana before being flown to Dubai for specialized medical care.
A source close to Kofi Adomah shared, “He’s currently in Dubai receiving treatment for the blurry eye, but it appears the other eye may not recover.”
Despite the severity of his injuries, reports confirm that he is in stable condition and is receiving advanced care to restore his vision.
