Ghana High Commission in Ottawa Announces Validation Exercise for Cap 30 Pensioners and Beneficiaries
The High Commission of Ghana in Canada has announced an upcoming validation exercise targeting all Cap 30 pensioners and beneficiaries living in the country. Initiated by the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD), the exercise aims to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of the government pension payroll, improve the overall administration of the Cap 30 Pension Scheme, and build a credible, up-to-date database.
Schedule and Requirements
The validation exercise is scheduled to run from 3rd to 28th August 2026, excluding weekends and public holidays. Affected individuals are required to visit the High Commission in Ottawa in person to complete the verification process.
Participants must bring copies of the following mandatory documents:
Pension’s ID
Pension Advice
Pension Form 1
Additionally, widows and guardians taking care of minor beneficiaries must present birth certificates for all minors under their care.
