The Ghana Education Service has announced that efforts are underway to resume academic work for continuing students of Obuasi Senior High Technical School.
In a press release dated 22 October 2026, Management of the Ghana Education Service informed the public that the school has been temporarily closed down to continuing students since 5 August following disturbances on the campus.
The first year students have been in school since the reporting date on 18 September, and Management assures that preparations are far advanced for continuing students to return to school sometime next week.
Further updates will be communicated when necessary.
